Personal Summary/ Experience
I am a seasoned creative professional originally from the UK, specializing in dance, drama, and voice. My extensive experience includes roles as a Choreographer and Movement Director for both industry and community projects, contributing to recorded footage for films, music videos, and live performances. Notable collaborations include work with companies such as Rogers Canada, The Legislative Assembly of Ontario and choreographing performances at prestigious venues like the Royal Festival Hall and the Royal Albert Hall in London, UK, featuring a 1,600-member choir.
In addition to my work in choreography, I pursued a career in acting, participating in theatre productions in both Toronto Canada and London, UK. Noteworthy roles include the EMMA-nominated play 'Black On Black,' where I portrayed the notorious Doris in the segment 'Don’t Fight Your Brother.' I've also contributed to music videos, indie films, and served as a background actor in both Canada and the UK. My passion for acting led to the establishment of my own production company, Oops baby Productions providing a platform to release original content and showcase emerging talent.
As a voice-over actress, I've lent my voice to exhibits, using both neutral and character voices, and contributed to educational recordings, DJ soundbites, commercials, and jingles. Additionally, I've worked as a professional background vocalist for recording artists, and my voice has been featured in exhibits at prominent institutions like the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) in Canada and an installation exhibit at The Barge Oxo Tower in London, England.
In the UK, I served as the director of my own company, NBDT Ltd, offering dance, drama, and team-building support to educational and non-educational organizations. Throughout my career, I've taught individuals of varying abilities and ages, using dance and drama not only as teaching tools but also as forms of therapy. In schools I’'ve created curriculum-linked classes and various performances. I also taught classes which helped children foster their confidence and self-expression. My teaching experience has extended to acting coaching, where I've assisted individuals in enhancing their acting skills for jobs and have students manage to get roles in major hollywood movies. As an acting coach I have had a 98% pass rate for students auditioning for their place in performing arts schools. As an artist I've also taught dance and choreographed for weddings, birthdays, and other celebratory events.
My dedication to folkloric culture led me to receive a Winston Churchill Travelling Fellowship, allowing me to explore and research African retention in Caribbean folklore, dance, and technique in Cuba and Jamaica.

DANCE
Wedding Couples/ Bachelorette Parties or Groups come to me to prepare for their wedding dances or performances for their guests, or to help celebrate this special occasion.
Private Students come to me for preparation for auditions, modeling for the catwalk, or to be more confident in dance or hire me to teach at parties, etc.
DRAMA
Private lessons I help people prepare for auditions, for professional actors or entrance into high or middle schools, or just want to brush up on their skills and confidence in these subjects. I also have confidence-building students where drama is used to help personally or in their occupations, past clients have included salespeople, comedians, and a restaurateur. I am also hired to work with various teams. I work with a workforce using drama not only for their confidence but to help them to be more cohesive as a team.
I constantly teach Dance classes/ dance workshops and do storytelling/drama workshops on a regular basis privately and in groups, throughout Toronto.
