Welcome to my world!

I am an experienced actress, movement director/choreographer, voice-over artist, confidence builder, performer, and teacher. I am originally from London, UK, now residing in Toronto, Canada, and have been in the performing arts for many years participating in seminars, workshops, performances, directing, and organizing, for different organizations and educational institutions. I have used my love of the arts and my wealth of knowledge in many different capacities to serve as a tool to achieve the most successful results.

I developed a love of acting as a child. I participated in many performances and attended many theatre workshops, this love of theatre and drama led me to get a degree in Drama & Theatre Studies. I became a member of community theatre groups and toured around London, England, which includes the EMMA nominated play ‘Black On Black’ as the notorious Doris in the segment ‘Don’t Fight Your Brother’. I have also acted in music videos and indie films, in Canada and the UK.

As a voice-over actress, my voice has been used for exhibits for public and private shows using neutral and character voices and lending my voice to song. I have done many recordings of my voice for various companies that have used my voice for educational recordings to learn English, apps, DJ’s, and music producers’ sound bites for advertisements commercials, and jingles. My voice has also been used for live performances for exhibits such as storytelling at the Art Gallery of Ontario, Canada, and installation exhibits at the Barge Oxo Tower, Waterloo, London, England.

"Dance has always been very much a part of my life from childhood memories of being awarded money and winning competitions due to my dancing skills".

I teach and dance many genres, however, I specialize in Afro-Fusion dance. I was awarded a Churchill Travelling Fellowship to fund my research in Caribbean dance and folklore and its African retention. I have taught and led workshops on Afro- Caribbean dance and culture, and I love to teach Afro-Fusion dance which is a mixture of dance from the African diaspora. Classes where I can share my love of dance and teach its history.

For a number of years, I have participated, directed, coordinated, choreographed, and been a movement director for both industry and community projects which has resulted in working with various companies and performances spaces such as Rogers Canada, the Legislative Assembly of Ontario in Canada the Royal Festival Hall, and Royal Albert Hall in London UK.

My mother was a teacher and I always volunteered and taught my passions at her school. After graduating from university the school loved what I did and asked me to continue to teach. 'Inside Nadine's World' was born!

For many years I taught in schools linking dance and drama to the curriculum, as well as producing large school productions, and became a part of many Arts in Education Initiatives/ Bodies. My experience led to me running workshops using drama and dance for team building, choreographing and directing many shows, and now privately helping individuals with their confidence using dance and drama.

Film Production

In being in the creative industry for many years I feel it is necessary to evolve, and wanted to do more and work in a medium where I can explore all my skills and develop my own content. This developed into my production company 'Oops Baby Productions' to produce content such as short films, music videos, comedy, and documentaries and also give the opportunity for young people to start their careers in the film industry from acting to videography.
